The Moroccan community in Spain
Spain is one of the European countries with the largest Moroccan diaspora: several hundred thousand families live in Madrid, Catalonia, Malaga and Andalusia. Many keep one foot in Morocco and follow the news bulletins, the Ramadan series and above all the Atlas Lions or AFCON matches every week.
The problem is not Spanish broadband, which is often excellent: it is the saturation of consumer servers in the evening. An IPTV subscription should therefore be judged on its stability at 9 pm, not on the number of channels advertised.
Moroccan and Spanish channels in one package
A subscription in Spain has to serve the whole family, including children born there. BouyaTV therefore combines two worlds:
- Moroccan channels: Al Aoula, 2M, Medi1 TV, Arryadia and the main news channels
- Spanish channels: La 1, Antena 3, Telecinco, La Sexta and the regional channels
- Live sport: Botola, AFCON, Champions League, La Liga and the big European leagues
- Kids and entertainment channels in French, English and Arabic
Mediterranean routing and very low latency
From Spain the distance to our servers is short and the Mediterranean submarine routes are well provisioned. The result is very low latency, near-instant channel switching and only a tiny delay between picture and live action, which matters a lot for matches and live commentary.
That proximity also lets you move from one match to the next in the evening without a buffering wheel, provided the connection at home is up to it.
Spanish ISPs, Ethernet and Wi-Fi
The main operators — Movistar, Orange, Vodafone and Yoigo — offer fibre in most cities, and often cover the areas where the diaspora lives. For a main television, favour an Ethernet connection rather than Wi-Fi: inside a Spanish building, thick walls and the density of neighbouring Wi-Fi networks quickly degrade the signal, especially in 4K.
If the Ethernet socket is too far from the television, a simple powerline adapter or a long cable usually does more for stability than a more expensive plan.

Frequently asked questions in Spain
Does it work despite the time difference? Yes: our servers are available around the clock and matches shown in Spain remain available live, whatever the time.
Do I need fibre? No. A stable connection is enough for smooth HD; fibre from Movistar, Orange, Vodafone or Yoigo simply lets you aim for comfortable 4K.
Is installation complicated? No: a WhatsApp exchange is enough, and support stays available if a step gets stuck.
