What is IPTV Smarters Pro?
IPTV Smarters Pro is an IPTV player, that is, an app that displays a video stream on your screen. It is not a content provider: the app sells neither channels nor movies, and it contains no bundle of its own. It connects to the subscription you already own, then presents the channels, VOD and programme guide (EPG) in a single interface.
- A player, not a service: without an active subscription, the app shows an empty list.
- Several login methods: Xtream Codes API, M3U playlist, or sometimes a MAC identifier depending on the version.
- A complete interface: categories, favourites, EPG guide, playback settings and support for several profiles.
- Available on several platforms: Android, iOS, some Smart TV stores and desktop, depending on the published version.
One note: IPTV Smarters Pro is developed by an independent publisher. We are not affiliated with that publisher; we simply explain how to install the app and use it with your subscription.
Where can you find the app?
The availability of IPTV Smarters Pro varies by device and region. These are the most common channels:
- Smart TV (stores where the app is present): depending on the brand and model, the app may appear in the TV store. Not every Smart TV offers it, and some brands list it only on certain models.
- Android and Google Play: phone, tablet, Android TV box and Fire TV stick usually go through the Play Store or an equivalent store.
- iOS and the App Store: on iPhone and iPad, look for the app in the App Store; the version on offer may differ from the Android one.
- Desktop (Windows / macOS): a desktop version exists on some platforms, or you can run it through an Android emulator when it is not offered natively.
Because availability changes from one device and region to another, always check the official listing in your hardware's store before installing. If the app is not offered on your television, you can also run it on a box or streaming stick plugged into the HDMI port.
Xtream Codes API or M3U?
IPTV Smarters Pro offers several ways to connect to your subscription. The two main ones are Xtream Codes API and the M3U playlist.
- Xtream Codes API (recommended): you enter a server URL (Host), a username and a password. The app fetches the channels, VOD and EPG by itself, and the setup stays easier to fix if something is wrong.
- M3U playlist: you paste a long playlist address. It works, but the address is longer to type, more fragile to typos, and the EPG guide often has to be configured separately.
In practice, choose Xtream Codes API: it is the fastest, clearest method and the one that loads the most information automatically. Keep the M3U playlist as a fallback if your provider only offers that format.
Adding a user, step by step
You need the credentials sent at activation: the server URL, the username and the password.
- Open IPTV Smarters Pro and accept the terms shown on first launch.
- Choose Add New User on the login screen.
- Select the Xtream Codes API mode rather than the M3U playlist.
- Give this profile a name (for example “Living room” or “Bedroom”) so you can recognise it easily.
- Enter the server URL (Host), the username and the password, exactly as received.
- Confirm: channels, VOD and the EPG guide load automatically.
- Then add the EPG guide if the app asks for it separately, and check that a channel starts correctly.
If a field is rejected, go over the three values one by one: the most common cause is still a space added at the start or end of a field.
EPG, favourites and profiles
Once the connection succeeds, three features make everyday use far more comfortable:
- EPG (programme guide): refresh the guide to display the week's programmes under the channels. If the guide stays empty, fix the device date and time zone, then refresh again.
- Favourites: pin your main channels in favourites for one-click access, and create groups (sport, news, kids) so you do not scroll through the whole list.
- Profiles: create several profiles to separate uses. An “adult” profile with all categories, and a “kids” profile limited to suitable categories, optionally with a protection code.
This separation is useful on a family television: everyone finds their own space, and adult content can be hidden from children.
Settings: decoder and buffer
A few playback settings make a difference to picture stability:
- Decoder: favour hardware decoding (HW) and, if your device supports it, H.265 (HEVC); software decoding (SW) is the fallback when the picture stutters or stays black.
- Buffer: increase it slightly if the connection is unstable, and keep the default on a wired connection.
- Subtitles and audio language: set them once in the settings, then switch track during playback if the stream offers several.
Troubleshooting common issues
- Login failed: re-enter the URL, username and password with no spaces, check the capital letters and lookalike characters (O and 0, l and 1), and make sure the subscription is active.
- Empty categories: reconnect, wait for loading to finish, then check that the right profile is selected. If the problem persists, try the M3U playlist as a fallback.
- Buffering: lower the stream quality, raise the buffer slightly, switch to Ethernet if possible and check that only one device is using the subscription at a time.
- Black screen: try another stream (HD instead of 4K), change the decoder (HW/SW) or fully restart the device.
- The app keeps closing: free up storage space, then uninstall and reinstall the player.
With an up-to-date player, a correctly entered Xtream Codes connection and a few adjusted settings, IPTV Smarters Pro becomes a simple way to watch your IPTV subscription, from phone to big screen.
